Pinecrest
A quiet little town at the edge of a pine forest: narrow streets, lawns, spruces, dead leaves and cars still parked in the driveways. Around it, the camps and cabins of the countryside.

Landmarks
Every Pinecrest has all of these.

Motel
A roadside motel: a row of rooms over two floors and its parking lot.

Fire Station
The red brick station and its tower, the engines still in the bays.

School
Classrooms, corridors and the yard.
Mini structures
A town gets a share of these along its streets, each one at most once.

Survivor Camp
Tents and a campfire in a clearing, and what the survivors left.

Chalet
A wooden chalet with its porch at the edge of the pines.

Fire Lookout
A tall wooden tower: climb it to see the whole valley.

Camper
A camper van parked in the woods, its awning still out.

Bunker
A hatch in the ground and a small shelter under it.
Life in town
Zombies come out on their own, more at night. Inside a town up to 10 roam around you by day and 18 at night (4 and 10 in the wild). Town zombies like Riot Cops, Firefighters and Mailmen are twice as common there, and the elite Tanks only walk the streets of a town at night.
Loot chests, searchable trash cans, boxes and bags (they restock after 5 minutes) and furniture in every house.
Zombies climb out of the manholes in the streets while you are around, and a manhole cannot be broken. Right click one with duct tape to seal it for good.
In the ruins of the other towns, a few survivors hide. The zombies leave them alone. Find them: a few words and 1 scrap, once a day.
The tall buildings have elevator pads: jump to go up, sneak to go down, right click for the list of floors. Zombies cannot use them.
